As part of providing information relevant to particular
sectors of our membership OHSEI recently posted some
interesting links for building and wood workers. In
the next month materials relevant to ITGLWF will be
posted.
One of the several
items worth a look on our IFBWW Webpage is a strategy
for informal occupational health and safety meetings
on the job called tool box or tailgate meetings. Go to the Labor Occupational health program,
University of California at Berkeley website for ideas
on participatory Construction industry tailgate meeting

Materials include checklists and case studies
as well as presentation plans.
More and more self-assessment learning activities are
appearing on the web giving opportunities for trade union
activists to develop skills and knowledge which may be
useful to members and to their own vocational development. OHSEI will keep an eye out for appropriate materials.
