More workplace inspection checklists

For some time OHSEI has been using an inspection checklist based upon the POSITIVE[1] checklist developed by JILAF and ILO.  It has now identified several other checklists for textile and clothing workers, for education unions, and for construction workers. 

The following checklists have been placed on our website:

  1. Education Unions Safety Representative Checklist.
  2. ITGLWF Health and safety factory inspection checklist.
  3. JILAF POSITIVE inspection checklist (adapted).
  4. ILO Construction Safety Training manual Checklist.
  5. UK HSE Construction site checklist.

[1]               Participation-Oriented Safety Improvements by Trade union InitiatiVE program designed to encourage active workers to begin to deal with some of the more obvious workplace hazards.
