Summary of the Notification of the Ministry of Interior Re: Safety of Work in Work Relating to Radiators

1. Intention of the Law
   
   1. To protect employees from the dangers of employing substandard radiators or radiators lacking proper installation and inspection. To prevent the employment of unqualified radiator controllers.
   2. To prevent incurrent losses to businesses and employees.



2. Main Points of the Law
   
   1. The employer is to employ in his business radiators and radiator parts of international standard or industrial production standard.
   2. The radiator and parts employed are to be installed in a manner commensurate with engineering basis.
   3. The water used in the radiator is to be of a quality not causing corrosion or damage to the radiator.
   4. There is to be a committee to give advice on legal policies and radiator-use technicalities.
   5. Radiator modification control measures are to be set in compliance with engineering standards
   6. There are to be yearly inspections of radiators and inspections after every major repair. The inspections are to be approved by an engineer.
   7. Authorized officers are empowered to request the repair of radiators to a safe working condition and prohibit the use of damaged radiators or radiators in bad conditions.
   8. Employee use of individual safety protective gear provided by the employer is required.
